DescriptionNorth West Education Service is a first aid training business which is a training partner with Australian First Aid RTO 3586. It delivers Nationally Recognised First Aid Courses at all levels and sells defibrillators. Although the business is based in Tasmania, it will be offering first aid courses at Wisemans Ferry as the owner, Margaret Gray aka Midge is a volunteer fire-fighter at Wisemans Ferry Rural Fire Brigade. She attends training at the brigade once a month and is available for other duties as required.
ServicesThe business delivers the following Nationally Recognised First Aid Courses:
- HLTAID001 Provide CPR
- HLTAID002 Provide Emerg. Life Support
- HLTAUD003 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First
Aid Response in an Educ. & Care
- HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid
- HLTAID007 Provide Adv. Resus
- HLTAID008 Manage First Aid Resources
in the Workplace.
* When participants complete 006, 007,
008, they receive an Occupational
First Aid Certificate Level 3.
Other first aid courses:
- First Aid Fast. This is a 3 hour
family friendly course. No tests. All
practical. Non accredited. It is
useful for people who just want to
learn practical first aid skills.
First Aid Courses can be completed entirely face to face or via the blended options as follows:
- Participants complete the theory
on line and then attend prac day. For
Level 2 HLTAID003 Provide First Aid,
practical is completed in 1 day. For
Level 3 the practical is completed
over 2 days depending on experience of
- Participants can also complete a work
book prior to the practical days. This
is very useful for those with a back
ground knowledge of first aid or who
don't have regular access to a
TradingAll certificates are issued by Australian First Aid RTO 3586.
